Fr Martin was ordained priest in Nottingham on 11th June, 1989, and has served in the Diocese of Nottingham as an assistant priest, a parish priest, and a port chaplain, and in some other secondary roles.
In 2019 he was appointed to serve the Catholic community in Glossop as parish priest of All Saints Parish and parish priest of St Mary Crowned Parish.
