This ministry is a privileged service, as the ministers assist the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion, both during Mass and also in parishioners’ homes or care homes.
The ministers undergo training before being commissioned to serve in the ministry.
This is a role for which volunteers must complete the Safer Recruiting process.
